Many, significant, and very different, welcome to a collection of images from the world of insects. One in four insects have disappeared since 1990, and the decline continues. This is due to shrinking habitats as a result of intensive, large-scale, and one-sided land use in both agriculture and forestry. Continued decline will be catastrophic for both ecosystems and humanity. It is important that we work to reverse the trend.
